Check-In/Check-Out

IMS comes delivered with a patient check-in/check-out module that reduces the time it takes to check patients in and out. Electronic check-in/check-out keeps staff informed of important details before a patient sees a doctor. For example, at check-in, it will notify staff of any unpaid bills or missing documentation to prevent unbillable encounters. Doctors can also send instructions to staff of tasks that should be completed before a patient leaves the clinic.

Within one click IMS scans the patients insurance card through a small duplex insurance card scanner. If IMS notices that they are a new patient, it will prompt staff to generate a Patient Intake Form. The practice management software will then auto-fills any data that the patient provided when they called in to set their appointment.

The software also knows which forms need to be signed based on the appointment type and the patient's age and gender. Forms can be signed digitally at the front desk on a digital signature pad.
